Tayla Takes the Title: Year 10 Star Crowned Danceworks Dux

Congratulations to Year 10 student, Tayla Oram, for being awarded the Dux of Danceworks Studios at their recent end of year concert. She was presented with her trophy by last year’s Dux, fellow Year 10 student, Evelyn Smith. Tayla’s passion for dance and willingness to improve her technique is to be commended. 

Making History: Mia Turner Tops Tasmania in National Competition

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Year 10 student Mia Turner, who achieved equal first place in Tasmania  for Year  10 in the Australian History Competition.

Mia recently attended an awards ceremony at the Premier’s Office, where she received her medallion and certificate from The Hon. Eric Abetz MP. Congratulations Mia on this outstanding success.  

Be Our Guest: Mount Carmel Talent Shines in Sell-Out Beauty and the Beast

Five talented students, Freda Barclay, Mia Cairns, Isobel Denby, Carla Mione and Hannah Tomlin, took to the stage in Musical Theatre Crew Company's production of Beauty and the Beast at the Peacock Theatre. Performing alongside a dynamic cast, the students brought energy and passion to a show that quickly became the company’s highest-selling production, with multiple sell-out performances leading up to its final curtain on November 8. The magic of the production captivated audiences night after night, showcasing the outstanding performing arts talent within our school community.
