LAST CHANCE – OPS MAIN EVENT - TICKETS CLOSE WEDNESDAY 12TH AUGUST  AT 5PM

We’re almost there!

Our main OPS event is happening this Friday at Inflatable World, Oakleigh from 5:30pm–7:30pm – and we’re excited to have around 230 members of our community joining us!

Tickets close at 5pm this Wednesday, so if you’re planning on coming, make sure you book. Dinner is included for each child, and siblings aged 12 and under are welcome too.

Can’t make it on Friday? You can still get involved by purchasing raffle tickets. First prize is a brand new Nintendo Switch, generously donated by TelTech.

And of course, don’t forget the OPS Silent Auction. We’ve had some great new items land, so jump back in, have a browse and pick up a bargain or two!

Every event ticket, raffle entry and auction bid helps us raise funds for new doors for our upstairs classrooms, benefiting both current and future OPS students.

P&F Update

As we start another term, we would like to thank our wonderful school community for its continued support of the P&F and the many volunteers who help bring our activities to life.

Earlier this year, we undertook a community survey to better understand what families value most about Ormond Primary School and where they would like to see future investment. The feedback was incredibly valuable and is helping shape our priorities, ensuring that fundraising efforts are focused on the projects and initiatives that will have the greatest impact for students and families.

In Term 2, we were pleased to upgrade the school's library management system. The new system will provide a more seamless borrowing experience for students while improving stock management and administration behind the scenes. We also refreshed the boys' toilets during the Term 2 holiday break, helping improve an important, shared space used by students every day.

Looking ahead to Term 3, our focus shifts to our main fundraising initiative for the year – raising funds for the installation of four new doors for the upstairs classrooms. This project will improve learning environments and provide greater flexibility for teachers and students, benefiting current Year 3–6 students as well as younger year levels in the years to come.

2. Our Fathers Day stall – celebrating all fathers and special persons, on Thursday 3rd September. It will follow the same format as the Mothers Day stall. Further details to follow.
