Primary Year 3-6

Wow! What a busy couple of weeks we’ve had… Mother’s Day Morning, Primary District Cross Country, Reconciliation and 125 Years of The Mercy Sisters. I want to thank all the staff who have worked tirelessly to ensure that each of these events were a success for our College.
🌟 Well Done to all Yr 3-6 students who last week competed at District Cross Country. Congratulations to Maci Tennant and Paddy Liddell (Yr 4), Blake Winnell (Yr 5) and Ellie Taylor (Yr 6) for receiving Age Champion. St Mary’s College also came away with winning the Primary Cross Country Trophy for yet another year!
Good Luck to all our students who will be representing the College at Division Cross Country in Yea.
✝️ Sacrament of Reconciliation ✝️
We are proud to celebrate a special milestone in the faith journey of 13 of our Middle Primary students as they recently received the Sacrament of Reconciliation. After weeks of thoughtful preparation through prayer, reflection, and classroom learning, the students took this important step with reverence and sincerity. The experience offered them a chance to grow closer to God, seek forgiveness, and embrace His love and mercy.
We thank Fr. Ashkar, Mrs Evans, Mrs Gough, Ms Osborne, Mrs Pearce and Mrs Stevens, and the families of these students for their guidance and support throughout this journey. Please continue to keep our students in your prayers as they deepen their relationship with God.
🎤Assemblies🎤
Our next F-6 assembly will be held Friday 23rd May, 2.30pm in the PLC.
Primary Band
We caught up with the amazing Yr 3-6 band last week during practice. Thanks to Mr Matthew Dudfield, the children are continuing to flourish and create beautiful music.
We are looking forward to the next performance!
