Technology
The students in Year 8 Technology have been busy creating a solution in response to a design brief challenge. They developed a criterion based on the design brief information and constraints they had to comply with. The students researched, explored and developed a range of viable ideas by drawing in various styles including Computer Aided Design. Then it was into the making and creating phase of their cutting boards, where they safely accessed both hand and power tools and finally sealed their boards in a food grade vegetable oil.
As seen in these pictures, they are all proud of their creative and quality product and are excited to take them home, and to evaluate the function of the cutting board as they help with preparing a family meal.
