HANDS ON LEARNING 

Term 1 just flew by in HoL and we managed to give the garden a big spruce up – complete with edging lawns, whipper snipping and mowing, along with some internal painting of a repaired wall, external painting of water tanks, window frames and garden pots, finishing the passionfruit frame and of course looking after our chickens and budgies.

We also said farewell to our long-time volunteer, David, who has been a stalwart in HoL for many years helping the students build the aviary, decking and a boat which past students got to use at the beach (just to name a few)
