Schools Tree Day

Glen Eira college students enjoyed planting more indigenous plants in our school gardens in August adding to plantings over the past decade. Glen Eira Council has also donated 3 banksia trees for a planting in Spring.

Thanks to Catherine and Ross McNaughton for organising the planting. Catherine is a recent GEC parent and Ross is a former GEC student who just graduated from Swinburne with 2 degrees in Engineering (Robotics and Mechatronics), and Innovation and Design. Thanks to students who carefully planted the new plants and are enjoying watching them grow.
