CBCA Book Week 2024 - Reading is Magic

We had a great time celebrating Book Week including a cartoonist talk by Mandy Ord for our Junior School students. 

During Book Week, the Junior School had the pleasure of having a cartoonist and illustrator Mandy Ord come to share her world of art. From the inspiration of her favourite writers and a love of drawing at a young age, Mandy picked up the pen producing her first art and comic strips to be shared with just a select few friends. They were mailed all across the globe to her friends. Her comics have related to many key topics of her everyday life and even thoughts or moments in her life. We thoroughly enjoyed hearing about a cartoonist's life.

Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge

Congratulations to all students who participated and completed the Challenge. All students who completed the Challenge will be given a certificate of achievement signed by the Victorian Premier and former Premiers in Term 4. Students will be notified by email details of the presentation and prize draw.
