Flexischools – Canteen purchases

The Canteen (Lauren Ann Montgomery) is excited to announce that they are now online with Flexischools, so you can order and pay for purchases online or via the Flexischools app or in person at the Canteen.

As per the Department of Education Mobile Phone Policy, students are unable to purchase items from our Canteen with their phone so they have enabled a safe and secure solution where students can use their student cards for cashless over-the-counter canteen purchases. The students will be issued with a barcode to attach to their current student ID card and in 2025 it will be printed on their card.

With Flexischools you can:

• Place and pay for your canteen orders in seconds
• See up-to-date menus and items
• Quickly re-order family favourites
• Give your child the freedom to make cashless over-the-counter purchases whilst maintaining control of their spend and visibility of purchases

Simply download the Flexischools app from the Apple or Google store, follow the prompts to create an account, and link the student card number within your student profile.

Once set up, click “Order Food” to place your order and pay. Orders can be placed at any time, up until our specified daily cut-off (as shown in the app).

You can even set up a student login and let your child take charge of ordering – great for growing independence.

For student card purchases, parents use their Flexischools app to add funds to their digital wallet and link this account to their child’s existing student card. You will have the option to set daily spending limits and automated top-ups for additional peace of mind. Students then scan their card at the canteen and the in-person transaction is charged to your Flexischools account.

The Canteen encourages all families to use Flexischools to help us create an efficient cashless experience at the canteen and simplify school life.
