Year Six Camp

The Year Six students enjoyed an action-packed three days up in Canberra! Civics and history were a strong focus of our trip, with students learning about our democratic system of government, how bills are passed in parliament, the preferential voting system, and the Australian experience of wartime service. Students also had the opportunity to engage in activities that supported their interests in science, art and PE through our visits to Questacon, The National Gallery of Australia and the Australian Institute of Sport.
We hope everyone enjoyed their time in Canberra!
