Sustainability

On February 28th, 2025, Black Rock Primary School proudly took part in Clean Up Australia Day, a nationwide event dedicated to keeping our environment clean and sustainable. Students from all year levels joined forces to tackle litter around the school grounds, contributing to a cleaner, greener community.
This year, every student played an active role in the clean-up, collecting rubbish from the school grounds and surrounding areas. The initiative not only helped improve the school's environment but also educated students about the importance of taking care of their local surroundings and reducing waste.
We are incredibly proud of the efforts shown by our students, and we hope this event continues to inspire them to be environmental stewards in the future. Thank you to our Year Six Sustainability Leaders, Lexi, Em and Pia for helping organise the resources we needed. Well done, everyone!
