Harmony Day

On Friday 21st of March, we celebrated Harmony Day, a special day where we focused on embracing diversity, promoting inclusivity, and celebrating the uniqueness of every individual in our school community.

In the lead-up to this day, the children engaged in a variety of circle time activities that helped them explore the significance of multiculturalism, belonging, and harmony. They participated in discussions about what it means to be inclusive, what Harmony Day represents, and how our differences can be celebrated.

Each class developed their understanding by reading stories, watching educational videos, listening to a podcast, and completing a creative activity that illustrated ways to ensure everyone feels they belong.

This week was a reminder of the importance of fostering an inclusive and respectful environment where everyone feels valued and accepted. We look forward to continuing to build a school community where diversity is celebrated, and all children feel a strong sense of belonging.
