It was wonderful to see nearly fifty Golden Heritage Club members join the Year 12s for Mass in the TC Chapel on Tuesday. This is a very special day on the TOBA calendar, and as the Class of 1975 celebrate 50 years since leaving school, we were delighted to welcome them to the group.
Cohorts spanned from the Class of 1948 to 1975, and we were thrilled to give the new inductees, Class ’75, a unique tie and pin which were bless by Fra Oscar Aguilera, designed especially for the Golden Heritage Club. Following Mass, the group enjoyed morning tea in the staff lounge.
Special thanks to Fra Oscar Aguilera for celebrating Mass, Director of Campus Ministry, Mrs Rosa West, Head of Year 12, Mr David Allan, TOBA President, Dion Smith (’87) and everyone involved in welcoming our wonderful Golden Heritage Club members.

Support our rowers in the 2025 Head of the River.
March 18 4.30pm to 5.00pm Presenting the oars. Old Boys needed for presenting an oar to each rower and singing the “Rumble.” In a way that the rower knows when he is hurting in the race, we are all with him.
The Prefects have asked if I could think of an event where some Old Boys could be filmed singing the War Crys with Passion.
So, I am inviting you to come in and join the rowers in singing “Oh hail to Thee” and “Rumble” and get it on film for the Prefects to show the students and visually capture the TC Spirit. It is an elusive beast.
Catering will be provided so please let me know if you are coming. If anyone organises their year and gets 8 blokes along, they will get a shirt - The Vikings designed by Liam Dee (07).
As a student in the 85 I can still remember the army of Old Boys turning up at the Aths.
They had been at the Hyde Park Hotel Aths Breakfast and filled the back turn of Perry Lakes it let me know this was my school and we were going to win the Aths together, we did. It was very powerful. Old boys are welcome to enjoy the catering and watch the 5-minute highlights video and the rev up from Old Boy Olympians.
The boys have a mass from 3.30pm until 4.30pm then will leave at 5.30pm with their oar presented by you and a mindset that we will do this.
