CAFS is currently holding information sessions for people interested in becoming foster carers. There are around 1,600 children and young people in foster care placements in Victoria, with about 470 children in residential care. The demand for foster care is growing, while the number of available carers is on the decline (AIHW, 2023). We are urgently seeking individuals who are ready to provide a loving, safe home for children in need. Click on the QR code for further information or to register your interest.
A group of Old Collegians, led by Brodie Henderson (SPC 2018-23), have shaved their heads to help raise funds for the Grampians Health Cancer Wellness Centre.
Declan Atkins, Dion Atkinson, Brodie Henderson, Kabel Lovison and Jett Ripper shaved their heads in honour of Brodie's pa, Mike Chennell, who volunteered as a driver for the Cancer Wellness Centre and sadly passed away from cancer.
The head shave took place at the Wellness Centre on Tuesday in honour of Mike's 78th birthday and raised more than $3000!
We congratulate the boys on their selfless efforts to help raise essential funds for the wellness centre and support cancer patients and their families in their time of need.
