“What a wonderful thought it is that some of the best days of our lives haven’t even happened yet.”— Anne Frank
As we approach the end of the semester, it's a time for reflection, preparation, and motivation. This significant period encompasses challenges and opportunities for our Middle School students to shine.
End-of-Semester Exams
Exams are an important milestone in the academic calendar, allowing students to demonstrate their learning and progress. We thank all students for bringing their best to their exams and showcasing their knowledge and skills to the best of their abilities. Feeling nervous is natural, but preparation and perspective can make all the difference. Exams are not just about grades—they’re an opportunity to build resilience and time management skills.
We are incredibly proud of our Year 10 cohort, who will depart Middle School and start Senior School duties next week, for showing maturity during this exam period. Our Year 9 cohort commenced exams on Wednesday of this week and have demonstrated positive attitudes going into the exams. Well done to all involved!
As we move on from exams and look at the new year, we ask families to continue to support student's education as they independently take control of their learning through the following tips:
Year 9 Camp Highlights #2
This term, many of our students had the opportunity to participate in the school camp, which provided unforgettable memories and personal growth. Camp is more than just a fun experience; it’s a chance for students to step outside their comfort zones and discover new strengths. Please enjoy some more photos of this beautiful experience.
Finishing the Year Strong
As the semester draws to a close, it’s crucial for students to stay motivated and finish on a positive note. Here’s how parents and carers can help them maintain momentum:
At this time of year, the support of family and friends plays a big role in helping students stay focused and positive.
Congratulations to all the students involved in this year’s school production of The Lion King Jr! Your dedication, creativity, and teamwork have inspired us, and your success is a testament to your hard work and passion. Our Year 9 students have made a fantastic effort, working tirelessly in rehearsals to bring forth an exciting and superb show. I have been fortunate enough to watch the growth in our students at these shows at each rehearsal and they should be incredibly proud, as should their families! Each student involved in this production has showcased so much talent, and I believe you will be truly amazed by what they produce!
We also thank the staff and volunteers who have supported the production thus far. We can’t wait for the final performances next Thursday, 28 November, Friday, 29 November, and Saturday, 30 November. We are all looking forward to a fantastic show! Tickets are still on sale, and you can purchase them using the following link:
