Year 4 Highlight

This term, our Year 4 students have been working hard to build their reading fluency through partner reading. Students have been taking turns reading aloud to a partner, focusing on reading accurately, smoothly and with expression. Partner reading gives students the opportunity to practise their reading while also developing their listening skills and confidence. Students have been encouraging one another, helping with tricky words and discussing how punctuation can guide our expression and phrasing. It has been wonderful to see students supporting each other and becoming more confident, fluent readers!
