Principal's Report

We, at Miners Rest Primary School, would like to acknowledge the Wadawurrung people of the Kulin Nation.

We pay our respects and thank the Wadawurrung people.

May we share your land. We promise to look after it, as well as the animals and people too.

ANZAC Day Service

We were delighted to have so many of our school community members join us for our ANZAC Day Service at the Cenotaph this morning. Our student leaders shone in their important roles throughout  the service and the Year 5/6 rendition of 'I was only 19' moved not only the children performing, but our staff and community members also felt the significance of the song. All of our students must be commended on their respectful behaviour and engagement in the entire service.

Our School Captains and Vice-Captains will be proudly representing our school and kindergarten at the Community Service tomorrow at 10:00 am.

School Review: Family Survey

You will have received a reminder from your child to take the opportunity to contribute to our School Review as a parent. We are grateful that families and carers have taken the time to share their views to support this important process.

It's not too late - we strongly encourage you to take a moment to complete the survey. Please note that the survey will close this Friday, April 26 at 5:00 pm.

Thank you once again for your support and input.

Kylie Nissen.
