Teddy Bears Picnic

D5 students had a wonderful time celebrating the end of term one! Students along with their teddies enjoyed listening to the picture story book ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ and completed a position/location Maths lesson before going on a bear hunt around the school.

ANZAC Day Learning

This week we have been learning about ANZAC day. Together we made a Poppy and then had a go of writing a sentence ‘It is a red poppy’. We also listened to the story about ANZAC Ted, and drew a picture of ANZAC Ted. Our sentence was ‘It is a teddy’. Our amazing work is on display in our learning space for all families to come and view.

Pattern Snakes

In Maths, D5 students have been learning about patterns. Students can copy, continue and make patterns using different objects, colours and shapes.

Athletics Day & Ball Sports

Gymnastics

Next Week, Foundation children begin their gymnastics sessions.

A reminder that gymnastics continues every Thursday for 6 weeks. It is recommended that children wear shorts or pants on a Thursday rather than a dress. D5 students will be back at school in time for lunch orders.
