St Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal

With winter upon us St Vincent de Paul begins its annual Winter Appeal. Our school will be participating by providing donations to our local St Vincent de Paul group.

Bring a donation of food items on the day

 for the St Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal

Vinnies are in need of the following items:

Cereal, tinned soup, pasta, pasta sauce, stews (tinned), tea and coffee, Milo, tinned fruit, muesli bars, fruit packs, long –life milk, tuna in spring water and nice biscuits

Donations of food (non- perishable items), warm coast and blankets can be left at the school office in the donation box at any time over the next few weeks. Thanks to those who have already contributed.

The Sacred Heart of Jesus celebrates God’s boundless, passionate, and enduring love for humanity, as well as His mercy and compassion. It honors the physical heart of Jesus Christ as a symbol of the divine love that motivated His life, ministry, and self-giving death on the cross. What are the ways that your family shares this kind of love? 

All families are warmly welcome to attend the Mass with us. Some of our children will be reading, altar serving and taking up the Offertory. At the Mass we will present the donations we have collected for the Winter Appeal to the St Vincent de Paul Society who look after the many needs in our community.
