Grade 5/6

During Reconciliation Week, 27th May- 3rd June, students enjoyed working in the 5/6 room, and together in multi-age group activities to explore the theme of reconciliation. Through shared reading experiences, discussion, and creative activities, students reflected on the importance of respect, understanding, and connection between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and all Australians. It was wonderful to see students learning from one another and thinking deeply about past injustices, while also considering how we can contribute to a respectful future through our everyday actions.
