Italian Sister School Program

Our community, once again, showed great generosity by hosting a group of 27 Italian students and two accompanying teachers for two weeks. Our guests were so impressed with our families’ friendliness and their welcoming hearts! Thank you to all hosting families and school staff who contributed to make this experience an exceptional one!

Here is a reflection from our Year 9 Italian Immersion students:

On the 27th of July, a class from our Italian sister school in Bologna arrived in Melbourne to begin their stay for 2 weeks. All of them would be hosted by different students and partake in many different activities over the course of their trip. Some highlights of the time together included a day where the Italian students, joined by their correspondent, went to the chocolate factory and to Phillip Island to see the penguins! It was an amazing experience, with everyone having a great time. We’re so grateful to have been a part of this exchange and can’t wait to go to Italy!
