This Fortnight In Literacy

By Laani 6PW

This term the whole school are doing a writing project the prompt being ‘The Secret Door". We got 10 mins of planning, 30 mins of writing and 5 mins of checking our writing. Soon all the teachers will get together in a big meeting to moderate our results and our writing level.

We are also doing P.A.T reading tests. These tests are questions that test our comprehension skills.

It's a testing term!

Reconciliation Week

Next week we will be celebrating Reconciliation Week, atime for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.

To celebrate, we are doing a special activity in CLaS (Care Learn and Share) that involves playing instruments, games and learning about Reconciliation Week.

On Friday the 23rd May we will be starting inter school sport. The sports that we are playing include soccer, European handball, netball and t-ball. We are up against Mont Albert Primary School first and will be playing at school. Good luck to all our teams!
