In the weeks to come we will be visiting other countries, if you would like to share a recipe come down to TheirCare we would love to see you there! We would really like you to share some stories about your culture, dress up in traditional dress or share an activity.

Term 2 - What's Been On
The past couple of weeks at OSHC have been filled with imagination and delightful exploration as we embraced contrasting themes! In the initial week, our program immersed children in the imaginative "I Wish I Was..." theme. This saw them exploring various identities through creative projects like crafting animal masks and designing superhero gear, which truly sparked their self-expression. Following this, last week, we transitioned into a "Winter Wonderland." Children engaged enthusiastically in activities such as building snow scenes and creating sparkly snowflake mobiles, which were perfect for the cooler weather and fostered imaginative play. We've observed a wonderful strengthening of rapport among the children and between children and educators, leading to more fluid group play and collaborative efforts across both themes. While children's engagement in these diverse themes has been a significant success, we are consistently working on refining our clean-up routines to encourage greater collective responsibility. We are thrilled to continue building on this positive momentum and fostering a program that genuinely reflects the children's evolving interests and capabilities

If you would like your child to attend our service, it is essential that you have booked them in through Fully Booked, submitted any medical documentation and updated your child’s enrolment, ensuring all medical conditions are listed on their enrolment. It’s important for our staff to understand these conditions and have the appropriate training, to look after your children. Your child will not be able to attend until our staff have this medical information.
