3G Mass

This Friday, 3G will be leading the Stage 2 Mass at Sacred Heart Church. The 17th of November is the feast of St. Elizabeth of Hungary. Although she died at the early age of 24, she lead a life full of prayer and service to the poor. St Elizabeth was a royal and used her position to try and lesson the burden of those less fortunte. She was often painted holding a basket of bread, which she would feed to the poor. All are welcome to attend the Stage 2 Mass on Friday at SHC at 9:15am.

Year 10 - End of Year Events

Year 10 are busy finalising their final weeks of school. This Friday they will have their final assembly, where they share memories and gratitude from their time here at HTS.

On Monday, 27 November to 29 November, Year 10 students will be travelling to Copeton Dam. Students will depart school on a bus at 9:30am. There is more information on Compass.

The days will involve the students reflecting on their time together as a cohort, memories, talking about their hopes and fears for the future and they will complete a Friendship booklet for one another. The Year 10 students will also take part in the Sacrament of Reconciliation on Tuesday evening which will be led by Fr Paul.

Festive Foods

Each year we support our local St vincent de Paul Society by  donating money collected from our annual Coin Drop, 13 December, and the Secondary Lap-A-Thon. We also give non-perishable festive food items donated by you, our generous families, to contribute to hampers given out by SVDP to families in our local community in need. We are asking for donations of non-perishable festive food items over the coming weeks. These will be given to SVDP at our Thanksgiving Mass on Thursday 14 December. Families are welcome to begin bringing in donations to their classes.
