Open Girls Netball 

Recently a group of girls represented Narrandera High School in the Open Girls Netball Gala Day. The team showed excellent sportsmanship, integrity and work ethic, finishing 3rd in their pool. 

They had a loss first up to Finley High School, who remained undefeated throughout the day. It is a credit to our girls that they lost by a reasonably small margin to this strong team.

The girls had strong efforts in all other games, winning easily against Albury High School, Tumbarumba High School, Leeton High School, Billabong High School and Murrumbidgee High School. Unfortunately, the girls went down by one goal in a tight clash with Kooringal High School.

The team consisted of Skye Hutchison, Charlie Brooker, Ella Richens, Sam Kerr, Hannah McDonald, April Walsh, Elsie Pendergast and Bellah Longford. All players should be commended on their willingness to play different positions and support their team mates. A special thank you goes to Zoe McLean and Jess Wright for scoring and umiring on the day.
