Open Girls Basketball - State top 8

From the bush to the city., we were reppin' strong. Top 8 in the state - thats elite, not wrong. Game 1, Endevour, yeah we came out flyin', Ella's on the sideline, jiggin', not cryin'.

Down by four at the half, we were feelin’ tight, But third quarter came, they turned up the fight. Free throws swishin’, our passing was smooth, But Endevour was bussin’ – they found their groove.

Game 2, Hunter High, came in a lil’ cooked, Still hurt from Game 1, feelin’ kinda spooked. But Bellah dropped heat: “BIG, BIG, BIGS!” Quarter-time huddle gave us energy and zigs.

Second half we clapped back, made them sweat, Sam and Charlie with passes they won’t forget. Fast breaks? On point. Bellah and Ella scored, Hannah pirouetted like a ballerina lord.

Still… left the run too late, yeah they took the dub, But between games, we still had fun in the hub. Charlie had Rizz, Gemma played matchmaker, Redhead vibes? Sigma moves, heartbreak shaker.

Game 3: Rouse Hill – oh yeah, we SLAYED, Movin’ like magic, shots got made. Rouse had shooters, hittin’ from deep, But Mr. Dore said, “Three players... the rest asleep.”

Bellah drew up plays like she’s Picasso, Ella and Charlie dishin’ dimes like a boss though. Sarah was clutch, Gemma locked it down, Skye, Sam, and Hannah made them frown.

Then… it was Westfields, the main event, Yogoberry hits and dollars well spent. Uber Eats came in hot that night, Charlie schooled Donaldson on the app just right.

Skye wrote a food post with dating app charm, “Don’t touch my fries or I’ll sound the alarm.”

Morning came, last game of the set, Cherrybrook High – yeah, we weren’t done yet. Block outs like pros, our passing was fire, Sent ‘em to the beach, early retire.

Orchestra vibes, we moved in sync, Finished our trip with a victory wink. 6th in the state from a country crew, That’s a flex, that’s facts, and it’s all true.

Shoutout time – these legends deserve the stage: 

🎤 Skye – key dominator, rebounding sage. 

🎤 Hannah – grit, determination, never lagged, Driving hard, ball in hand, always swagged.

🎤 Sam – crisp passes, coast to coast, Had that vision, gave the most. 

🎤 Ella, Bellah, Charlie – the trio up top, Their defence? Sigma. Their hustle? Non-stop.

🎤 Gemma – smart, switched-on, clean with the D, Turned the game with strategy. 

🎤 Zoe & Tameika – though injured, still slaying, On the whistle, in the zone, no delaying.

🎤 Mr. Dore – at first chill, then he caught the fever, By Day 2, he’s Coach of the Year, believer. 

🎤 Donaldson – rotated, repped with fire, Passion? On full. Charisma? Higher.

Now give it up loud, don’t hold back a clap, For the girls who wore the jersey and repped on the map. From the bush to the big time – 6th in the state! This team right here? 

Yeah brah… they’re GREAT.
