Drop the beat—or just your jaw, 'cause these girls slayed once more

From basketball vibes to netball courts, Friday was game day, no time for shorts. Left in the frost, dark skies in the air, Headed to Albury – competition? Beware.

Game 1 we were frozen, fingers like ice, Faced Wagga High, had to roll the dice. It took a hot minute to shake off the chill, But we flexed just enough – drew the match with skill.

Next up, Tumbarumba – oh brah, that was fun, We cooked ‘em 38–zip, job DONE. Sent ‘em back to the hills, slayin’ like queens, Fastest twenty-minute shutout you’ve ever seen.

Then Billabong came with that serious face, But we held strong, kept control of the pace. Skye and April with rebounds that slapped, While Bellah, Charlie, Ella Offensively strapped.

They stalked like lions, ready to pounce, Every loose ball? Yeah, we made it count. Sam and Hannah lit the scoreboard up, Passing, shooting – bruh, they own the cup.

RAP came next, and it wasn’t no joke, Tess and Milly had their shooters choked. Gemma dropped dimes, those passes were art, Ella and Hannah – shooters with heart.

Then came Corowa, undefeated and proud, But we said “nah,” and shut down their crowd. Took a 4-goal lead, never let it go, Toppled the top dogs – that’s how we roll!

To the semis we went, drew Kooringal High, We knew they were tough, but we aimed for the sky. One more win and we’d hit the beach, State dream in sight – just within reach.

We dug real deep, gave all we had, Tough drives, crisp feeds – never played bad. Calm under pressure, we made space with finesse, Turnovers and ‘cepts? Sigma success.

Siren blared, it was all tied tight, But we stayed strong, didn’t lose sight. Ella and Sam brought that rizz and respect, Morale on point, you better reflect.

Hannah called plays like a netball boss, Attack on fire, never took a loss. One-on-one marking, tight like glue, Passing on point – we knew what to do.

Skye and April were beasts in the ring, Denied those shots like it ain’t no thing. Teamwork, talk, hustle and trust – With that kinda vibe, winning’s a must.

Riverina Champs – again we reign, 

Now off to State – we’re back in the game. From the bush to the big stage, we bring the flame, Small school, big dreams – remember the name.

A shoutout now to the support crew fam: 

Sarah with the scores – calm like a jam. 

Milla the manager, vibe queen, no stress, Kept the squad together – no need to guess.

Xanthe and Isla – our umpiring crew, Made slick calls, like they already knew. Minimal fuss, they ruled the court, In every way, just top-tier sport.

So clap it up for our girls who slay, They sigma’d the court in every play. Open Girls Netball – Riverina elite, Next stop: STATE. And we won’t accept defeat.
