Winter sleep out

August 2026 Winter Sleepout Fundraising Day – Flannelette Day
On Friday 21 August 2026, we will be holding a whole-school Flannelette Day in support of our annual Winter Sleepout initiative.
The Winter Sleepout is a student-led service-learning experience that raises awareness of homelessness and housing insecurity while encouraging students to develop empathy, challenge stereotypes and support organisations making a positive difference within our local community.
Dress code:
All students from both Senior and Junior school are encouraged to wear a piece of flannelette clothing to show their support, such as shirt or pants. An example is below:
Students must still wear appropriate school uniform and footwear for the classes they have that day. This includes PE uniform and suitable sports shoes for PE, and enclosed shoes for Technology and Science classes.
Senior School – Gold Coin Donation
Senior School students are asked to make a gold coin donation, with all proceeds supporting ‘Yes Unlimited’.
‘Yes Unlimited’ is a local not-for-profit organisation that works alongside young people experiencing homelessness, housing insecurity and other significant life challenges. Through outreach programs, accommodation support, mentoring and practical assistance, they help young people build stability, independence and hope for the future.
Gold coin donations will be collected during GO Time on Friday 21 August.
Junior School - non-perishable food donation
The Junior School will be collecting donations in support of Foodshare and Care Van as part of the Year 11 Winter Sleepout initiative.
A donation stall will be set up in the Chapel area from 8:00 am, where students can drop off their contributions before school and during lunchtime.
