Junior Sports Report

Mr Kade Stevens - Junior School Sports Coordinator

RAS Athletics

Our students delivered an outstanding performance at the RAS Carnival held last Tuesday, with 22 students qualifying for RAS after achieving excellent results across a range of track and field events.

We are incredibly proud of all our students for their effort and sportsmanship across the day. It was awesome to see all of our students supporting and cheering each other on!

A huge congratulations to Mahir Pathak, who was awarded Age Champion after an exceptional day of competition. Mahir's achievements included first place finishes in both the 100m, 200m and Long Jump, as well as strong performances in High Jump, 1500m and 800m.

Congratulations also to Manari Ezekwe, who was named Age Runner-Up. Manari was competing as bottom age in the 8-10 years age group, making getting runners up a very impressive achievement!

We wish all CIS qualifiers the very best as they prepare to compete at the next level and look forward to seeing you represent Trinity and RAS!

Rescheduled Trent Barrett & Mortimer

Unfortunately, due to wet weather, the Trent Barrett and Mortimer Legends Rugby gala day had to be postponed. The new date is now September 15th (Week 9). Further information will be given to students and parents in the coming weeks.

Scots Basketball Challenge

Next Tuesday, our Junior Basketball teams will travel to Scots for a Gala Day against their teams. These days are a fantastic opportunity for students to further develop their basketball skills, play alongside new teammates, build confidence, and enjoy more valuable time on the court in a competitive but enjoyable environment.
