Student Forum

Our Senior School (Years 9–10) Student Forum Representatives recently visited AlburyCity Council, where they met with members of the Community Engagement Team and our local Mayor, Cr Kevin Mack.

The visit provided students with an insight into the role of local government in our region, an opportunity to hear about current local issues and a greater understanding of the ways young people can contribute to and engage with their community.

Our students represented the College wonderfully, demonstrating a genuine interest in local issues and asking some thoughtful and insightful questions. They are a fantastic group of emerging leaders, and we look forward to seeing them continue to make a positive contribution to our College and wider community.

Charlie McCormack selected for Sydney Symphony Orchestra Children's Choir

Congratulations to Charlie McCormack (Year 9 Kimball) on successfully auditioned for and been accepted into the Sydney Symphony Orchestra Children's Choir - an incredible accomplishment that recognises his talent, dedication and passion for music.

As part of this exciting opportunity, Charlie will perform alongside the acclaimed Australian band The Cat Empire when they collaborate with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra for a series of concerts in Sydney on 27, 28 and 29 August.

This is a wonderful opportunity for Charlie to perform with some of Australia's finest musicians on one of the country's premier stages. We congratulate him on this well-deserved achievement and wish him every success for the upcoming performances.
