New K – 2 Playground: let the games begin!

What a priceless scene – watching our Kindies, Year 1s and Year 2s enjoying their new playground for the first time!  I thank Simon Fairall, Deputy Principal – Junior School, K – 2 staff, and students who contributed to the design of this new facility.  We were very pleased to work with Stuart Gordon Landscaping to undertake the works. 

In the process, we have tidied-up a troublesome area between the Year 6 and K-2 Buildings and provided spaces for outdoor learning.  I’m sure the dozens of parents, who wait for their children in the afternoons, will also appreciate the additional seating as well.  Good luck in getting your children off the play equipment to take them home! 

Growing Together giving campaign

Thank you so much to the members of our community who have already made a donation to our giving campaign ‘Growing Together’.  Donors from Bronze level and above will appear on an Honour Board in the Junior School.  Further details can be viewed here.

Yearbook 2025

This week, students will bring home their 2025 Yearbook, a wonderful record of a year marked by growth, achievement, service and community spirit. The Yearbook celebrates the many ways our students and staff have lived Our Purpose, from opportunities in learning and leadership, to sporting, cultural and service achievements. I encourage families to take time to read through its pages and reflect on the people, experiences and milestones that made 2025 so memorable for our community.

New Uniform Sessions

Thank you to the families who attended our new uniform sessions this week. We really appreciate the feedback we’ve received so far, and we’d love to see even more families come along to view the new uniforms and share their thoughts.

We’ll be holding two further sessions on Tuesday 25 August at 8.30am and 5.00pm.

Welcome Amber

We are delighted to welcome Amber Cogdell to the College as our new First Nations Liaison Officer. 

Amber brings extensive experience working alongside young people, families and Aboriginal communities through roles in youth work, community services, mental health, employment mentoring and Aboriginal case management. Her passion for supporting young people, fostering strong relationships and creating culturally safe and inclusive environments, will be a tremendous asset to our College. 

In her role, Amber will work to strengthen our connections with local First Nations communities, support our Reconciliation Action Plan initiatives, and help deepen cultural understanding and engagement across the Trinity community.  Welcome Amber!
