Clayfield Swimming

Clayfield Swimming Club Memberships

As we prepare for an exciting 2026 and 2027 swimming season, I would like to encourage all Clayfield College Andrews Cup, Britton Shield, QGSSSA and Senior Boys Sport swimmers to become members of the Clayfield Swimming Club. 

 

Competition is one of the most effective ways to develop racing skills, build confidence and achieve personal goals in swimming. Becoming a club member is an important step in a swimmer's development and provides access to a wide range of competitive opportunities throughout the season giving our students further opportunities to learn vital race skills before the 2026 and 2027 intra-school swimming competitions, while also becoming part of a supportive team environment that celebrates personal improvement, commitment and achievement.

Competition Calendar

Our competition calendar is already shaping up to be an exciting one, with key events including:

 

Short Course Transition Meet 

  • Date: 18 July 2026

 

Brisbane Junior Short Course Championships 

  • Date: 1 August 2026

 

Queensland Short Course Championships 

  • Date: 6 to 9 August 2026

 

In addition, we will be hosting Clayfield Swimming Club Nights during Term 4 2026 on:

  • Friday 16 October
  • Friday 30 October
  • Friday 13 November
  • Friday 27 November

Membership Fees

  • Competitive Swimmer Membership: $214.03 per annum
  • Junior Competitive Swimmer Membership (Under 9 Years): $130.27 per annum
  • Parent Membership: Free

  • Swim Club Membership: (Free)

     

We encourage all swimmers to register for the free Swim Club membership, which will be used for Club Nights and recording race times throughout the season.

 

To register for the free Swim Club membership:

  1. Download the Swim Club App.
  2. Create a profile.
  3. Create your swimmer profile.

  4. Join Clayfield Swimming using passcode 4011.

     

To register for other memberships:

  1. Visit Swim Central.
  2. Create an account.
  3. Create your swimmer profile.
  4. Select Clayfield Swimming as your club.
  5. Choose the appropriate membership category.
  6. Complete payment.

Clayfield Swimming Squad Timetable

Clayfield College Croc Squad

This squad session is available for our Andrews Cup and Britton Shield swimmers, to prepare for the upcoming 2026 and 2027 Intra-School swimming competitions. Students can attend one or all available CC Squad Sessions on the timetable. Families are encouraged to contact Clayfield Swimming for further information: swimming@clayfield.qld.edu.au.

Learn to Swim Availability

We still have lessons available for all levels in Term 3. If you are looking to book your child in to get them ready for Term 4 school swimming or wish to add an additional lesson, please email swimming@clayfield.qld.edu.au. 

 

Lessons are available on the below days:

  • Thursday
  • Saturday

Access to the Pool

When accessing the pool from Bayview Terrace, please enter via the 'Let your Light Shine' walkway (Gate 6, the designated pedestrian entry point), continue through the Tuckshop Courtyard and left into the Pool Centre. For the safety of all members of our community, we ask that families and visitors do not access the pool via the maintenance car park (Gate 5).
