A Place of Belonging
Our first week back in boarding has been spent welcoming all boarders back and celebrating NAIDOC Week. The week has included traditional face painting, First Nation students reading stories with Pre-Prep to Year 2 students, a celebration dinner and yarning circle with this year’s theme ‘50 years of deadly’, artwork, and a NAIDOC Assembly to end the week, please refer to the Week 1 Photo Gallery for more pictures from throughout the week.
Weekend Leave
A reminder that all leave should be requested by your child via Orah by Wednesday evening. Your approval needs to be received by Thursday afternoon to allow processing and approval time.
If your child has not had their leave approved before this time, unfortunately, they will not be permitted to go on leave. Thank you in advance for ensuring all leave for your child is approved by Thursday afternoon.
Boarding Events and Celebrations
The QGSSSA Winter competition kicks off this Saturday with away games against Brisbane Girls’ Grammar School. The boys BBI basketball competition continues Friday and Saturday.
