Parent Teacher Interviews
Parent Teacher interviews will be held in Week 8 for families of students from Pre-Primary to Year 6. These allow teachers and families to discuss their progress this year at St Helena's, share successes they have had so far and to set some learning goals for the future.
Please ensure you select your child's class teacher before selecting a time. Please note- meetings are in 10 minute sessions. If you require a longer session, please email your class teacher.
IEP Meetings will take place in Week 1 of Term 2 Week 1 and Kindy Interviews will take place early in Term 2.
Further information regarding how to book Parent Teacher and IEP meetings will be sent via email on Friday 13 March.
Parish School Mass
This Sunday St Helena's Catholic Primay School will hold a School Parish Mass at St Helena of the Holy Cross Parish. Morning Tea will be held in the Parish Centre after mass and everyone is welcome to attend.
Sacrament Enrolment Masses
Students at St Helena's that will receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation, Eucharist or Confirmation in 2026 will need to attend one of the Enrolment Masses this will take place on Sunday 15 and Sunday 22 March at 9:30am at St Helena of the Holy Cross Parish.
Reconciliation Workshop and Rehearsals
The Reconciliation Workshop and Rehearsal for students and parents/caregivers will be held at St Helena of the Holy Cross church on Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19 March at 4:00pm and 5:15pm.
Harmony Day
Students are invited to wear cultural dress or orange clothing to school on Friday 20 March to celebrate Harmony Day.
P&F Welcome BBQ - New Date
The P&F Welcome BBQ will now take place on Friday 27 March. We looking forward to welcoming all our families, old and new! Our P & F need volunteers to assist on the evening, please complete the form here if you are available to help. Please RSVP that you will be attending here. Parking for the evening will be available on the oval accessibly via Bronzewing Avenue and we request that Parents and Caregivers use this as their first option.
P&F Easter Raffle Donations
The P&F are requesting donations from our school community for the 2026 Easter Raffle. Donations of Easter themed items would be greatly appreciated and can be dropped off at the school office. Ticket sales will commence in Week 8.
Smart Watches
We are currently updating our ICT guidelines to include smart watches. To support a focused and safe learning environment, students will not be permitted to wear smart watches at school. This update follows recent incidents where smart watches were used during school hours. Smart watches should be left at home or handed to the school office each morning in the same way all mobile devices are. Thank you for your cooperation in helping us maintain a positive learning environment.
Kindy 2027 Enrolments
Enrolment interviews for Kindergarten in 2027 will commence shortly.
Families with siblings born between July 2022 and June 2023 seeking a place in our Kindergarten next year at St Helena's are asked to contact Admin on admin@sthelenas.wa.edu.au or 9297 7500 to receive an application pack. We don't want you to miss out!
