Welcome and Wominjeka!

Grade Ones and Twos have made a great start to the year in Visual Art. They have revised and consolidated their prior knowledge of colour, line and shape to create a self-portrait. In the first session, artists painted a background using warm colours. They overlapped this with a selection of different lines using cool colours. In the second session, they considered the shapes and features of their face to draw themselves. Tiny bodies have been added to their self-portraits to create a fun, cartoon style of drawing, painting over the drawings in their chosen colour. So cute! So proud!!!
