Year 11 Psychology

Sheep Brain Dissection
Our Year 11 Psychology students recently took part in a sheep brain dissection as part of their studies into the structure and function of the brain. This hands-on learning experience gave students the opportunity to closely examine different areas of the brain and deepen their understanding of how the brain influences behaviour, thoughts and emotions.
By connecting classroom theory with practical investigation, students were able to explore key concepts in a real-world context and further develop their scientific observation skills. The activity sparked curiosity and thoughtful discussion, providing an engaging and very memorable learning experience for our Psychology students!
