Emergency Contact Information Updated on PAM

Unexpected illnesses and injuries are unfortunately inevitable, to make things run as smoothly as possible for your child/children at school, could you please ensure that your emergency contacts are up to date on PAM and that the emergency contacts are available to assist in the times that the parent/guardians are unavailable.

This is important to keep children safe and well cared for.

Thank you for your assistance.

YEAR 7 CAMP

Dear Year 7 Families,

With our Year 7 camp fast approaching on the first day back after the holidays, we would like to ensure all medical arrangements are in place for a safe and smooth experience for all students.

If your child requires medication while at camp, please complete a Medication Authority Form and return it to the College by Friday 27 March.

Medication can be dropped off at Student Reception on the day of camp; however, it is greatly appreciated if this can be done prior where possible. We understand this is not always convenient, but returning the completed form in advance is extremely helpful.

Where possible, we also encourage families to have regular medications organised into daily blister packs through your pharmacy, as this supports safe and efficient administration while on camp.

Please ensure that all medication is clearly labelled with:

·         the student’s full name

·         the name of the medication

·         the required dosage

If your child requires medication on an “as needed” basis (e.g. paracetamol for headaches or antihistamines for hay fever), this must also be listed on the Medication Authority Form and provided to the school by 27 March.

For safety reasons, students are not permitted to keep medication in their rooms during camp. A designated Student Health Officer will manage and administer all medications.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Becca and Claire via health@mmcrc.catholic.edu.au. Medication Authority Forms can also be returned via this email.

Thank you for your support in helping us ensure a safe and well-organised camp experience for all students.

Kind regards,

Claire and Becca

School Photographs

This year we have a different process for ordering school photos.  Once the photographer has prepared all photos for sale, parents will receive a link to the photographer's website to review and purchase photos directly.  No forms need to be filled out or provided to the school or photographer.

At this stage we are waiting for confirmation that the photos are ready for purchase.

PAM / SIMON Everywhere

All school activities and permissions will be accessed by parents via the Parent Access Module (PAM) - the SIMON Everywhere app is no longer being used by the school.

Please go to the 'Parent Access Module' section of this newsletter for instructions on using PAM.
