Year One Fun has Begun

The Year 1 students have been enjoying learning about narratives through the much-loved story of The Gruffalo. As part of their learning, the children explored the different features and characteristics of the Gruffalo and then created their very own Gruffalo using paper and craft materials. They carefully included all of his distinctive features, including his purple prickles, orange eyes, poisonous wart, terrible tusks and knobbly knees. The students showed wonderful creativity and attention to detail as they brought their Gruffalo creations to life. It was a fun and engaging way for the children to develop their understanding of the story while expressing their creativity through art.
