New Year 7 Cohort Takes Shape

We are thrilled to have extended our first round of offers for the Year 7 EVP 2026 intake. The calibre of applicants this year has been exceptional, with talent levels that truly reflect the growing reputation of our program. We cannot wait to watch these future athletes develop into leaders in the sport when they arrive at The Gap State High School, while witnessing how the EVP fosters engagement and belonging throughout their high school journey. The foundation of excellence within the EVP continues to strengthen with each new cohort.

Teachers Dominate in Annual Showdown

The annual Students vs Teachers volleyball match delivered spectacular entertainment, with our coaching staff proving their expertise extends beyond the sideline! The teachers secured a comfortable victory over our Year 12 students, providing further evidence of the strong coaching cohesion and competitive spirit that drives our program. A large crowd gathered in the stadium, creating an electric atmosphere that had the venue booming with energy. The Year 11 students have already begun strategising for their opportunity to take on the teachers next year, determined to restore student pride.

Term 3 Competition Preparations

Excitement is building as we prepare for the postponed Beach Schools Cup at the start of Term 3. The high level of interest from our students to compete demonstrates the competitive spirit and commitment that defines EVP culture. This tournament will provide an excellent opportunity for our athletes to showcase their development and represent the program on a broader stage.
