A Warm Welcome to Our New International Students

Term 3 has started with great excitement as we welcomed a new group of international students to Warrandyte High School.

This term, we are proud to have 14 long-term international students studying with us, alongside 13 short-term international students who are joining our school community between 4 and 8 weeks.

We warmly welcome all of our new students and hope their time at Warrandyte High School will be a rewarding experience filled with learning, friendship, and personal growth.

Supporting Student Wellbeing and Connection

Supporting our international students to feel connected, confident, and successful remains a key priority this term.

To provide additional wellbeing and language support, we have introduced a special Wellbeing Program designed to help students build confidence, develop friendships, and strengthen their sense of belonging within the school community.

As part of this initiative, students are invited to participate in our weekly General Conversation Time every Wednesday. These informal sessions provide a relaxed and welcoming environment where students can practise their English conversation skills, meet new people, and develop their social confidence while having fun.

At Warrandyte High School, we believe that every student belongs, and we are committed to ensuring our international students feel welcomed, supported, and valued throughout their learning journey.
