Term Three Wrap Up

Lots of exciting things happened in Term 3 Book Week is the busiest week in the Library and to make it even busier we had also had Book Fair and a visit from the Blurbs. 

A huge thank you to everyone who embraced the spirit of Book Week. There were fantastic costumes and lots of fun and laughter during the parade and throughout the day. The Where's Wally hunt on Monday was lots of fun and will return again next year. Congratulations to Mrs Davey and the School Council on organising a great parade, as judges they had a very hard task choosing winners of the Best Dressed Competition.

The Blurbs performed on Friday 28th August. It was a fantastic morning with students joining in with the singing and dancing.  Thanks to Mr Price, Mrs Dellar and Miss Moore for taking part in the show with their impressive goal shooting and dance moves. 

Scholastic Book Fair was a great success with over $3500 in sales. I will be purchasing new items for the library with our rewards, so stay tuned for photos of our new purchases.

Overdue Books

Overdue notices will be sent home next week. Please take some time over the holidays to search for any missing books. Currently there are over 90 overdue books at the cost of nearly $2000. Support in reducing these numbers is appreciated, allowing funds to be used for purchasing new titles rather than replacing missing texts.
