📚 BOOK WEEK HOME READING CHALLENGE 📚

As part of our celebration of Book Week 2026: Symphony of Stories, we are inviting all students to participate in our Home Reading Challenge. 

Reading together is a wonderful way to build children's literacy skills, imagination, and enjoyment of books. We encourage families to spend time reading with their children and discussing the stories they share. Talking about characters, settings, events, and favourite parts of a book helps deepen students' understanding and foster a lifelong love of reading. 

Each student should have received a Reading Challenge Bingo Card this week. To successfully complete the challenge, students need to complete a minimum of 12 squares on their bingo card. 

As students' complete activities, please: 

• Mark off the completed squares on the bingo card. 
• Take photos of your child completing the activities. 
• Email the completed bingo card and photos to specialist@sjcobram.catholic.edu.au 

Entries are due by Monday 31st August, 2026. 

As an added incentive, all students who complete the challenge will go into a draw to win a book prize! 

We look forward to seeing students embrace the joy of reading and celebrate the many wonderful stories that make up our Book Week theme, Symphony of Stories.
