SLC:

We had a fantastic afternoon last week at our Tri-Series Games with Cobram Primary School. It was wonderful to see everyone demonstrating excellent sportsmanship, teamwork, and enjoyment throughout the event. This week, Cobram Anglican Grammar School will be hosting Friday’s games.

This Monday the students will be part of a Leadership Day run by Aspire Higher.

"Aspire Higher" is a full day workshop. It provides a deeper exploration on the themes we embedded through ASIRE HIGHER. 

Session 1: THE POWER OF INFLUENCE - What is influence? What difference can I make? 

Session 2: T.E.A.M.S - Team building session with a focus on building snergy, communication and working together.

Session 3: BATTLE OF THE HOUSES - Action packed challenge in house groups (or in class groups).

Year 5:

We are excited to be starting a new class novel, The Grandest Bookshop in the World.

Set in 1893 Melbourne, the story follows Pearl and her brother Vally, who live in Cole’s Book Arcade, a magical bookshop filled with wonder and adventure. When they discover their father has made a dangerous deal with a mysterious magician, they must complete seven challenges before midnight to save both him and the beloved Book Arcade.

Year 6: A reminder that a Foundation photo is required for any Year 6 student who did not begin their schooling at St Joseph’s.

We are looking forward to another busy and productive few weeks of learning.
