What's Happening

FOOD DRIVE
To coincide with Refugee Week 2025, the SRC is running a food drive again this year to collect food items for people in need at the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre.
Examples of foods that are needed are tinned vegetables, pasta, tea, coffee and biscuits.
Food items to be donated can be brought in to school during this week. There is a shopping bag in each classroom for students to place their donations in. The final day for donations is Friday June 27th.
POTATO TOWERS
We had Danny from Bunnings visit CPS last week. She built two potato towers with some of our preps.
It will be wonderful to see the tower sprout and grow over the coming months and the preps might want to help harvest them when the leaves and flowers die back.
BIRTHDAY BOOKS
The following students had a birthday recently and have generously donated a book to our library.
Name | Grade | Book Title |
Kayan A | 1C | Dr. Seuss Cat in the Hat |
Evie E | 1B | Claris Palace Party |
Thank you for these great books and many happy birthday wishes from all at Carnegie Primary School!
If you would like to donate a book to our library to celebrate your birthday, please give it to your classroom teacher. Thank you very much from all the students at CPS!
