LIKE MINDS

Our Like Minds students took part in a 3-day Gippsland Tech School challenge this week, using the Design Thinking process to solve a real-world health industry problem.

Working in teams, students  explored ways to improve patient safety by addressing issues such as falls in healthcare settings and enhancing the comfort, safety, and storage of mobility aids like crutches. 

Students designed, tested and refined a range of innovative prototypes and today, they pitched their final solutions and showcased their ideas to an audience.

Along the way, students have built valuable enterprise, teamwork and problem-solving skills while gaining insight into careers in the health sector.
