YEAR 8

The Year 8 Badminton girls set off to Morwell to defend their regional title of 2025 in the Gippsland Badminton tournament. With a team of five, the girls were poised and ready for what the competition had to bring. The first match against Sale saw the team take a clean sweep of all 6 matches. Next Bairnsdale threw down the gauntlet, but our team had the upper hand scoring more points across the matches. The final team really pushed our players to the limit, but despite their tenacity, the desire to make it to state for a second year in a row was too strong. A huge congratulations to Noi, Gracey, Lara, Bridget and Asha, Brooklyn for her team support and scoring and our parents who supported the day. A big thankyou to Mr Sorrell and Ms Lloyd for attending the day. Bring on State Finals in September!!!!
