SPEED CAREERS

YEAR 9

Year 9 students stepped into the world of work on Tuesday through an engaging "Speed Careers" program delivered by South Gippsland Bass Coast Local Learning & Employment Network (SGBCLLEN).

Throughout the day, students rotated through a series of interactive career sessions, meeting professionals from a diverse range of industries including Health, Trades, Creative Arts, Drones & Technology, Hospitality, Science, Agriculture, and Motivational/Goal Setting.

The hands-on activities gave students the opportunity to explore different career pathways, ask questions, and gain valuable insights into the skills and experiences required in various fields. Highlights included flying drones, building windmills, and hearing firsthand stories from industry professionals about their career journeys.

The program encouraged students to think about their future aspirations and the many opportunities available to them after school. It was a fantastic experience that sparked curiosity, built confidence, and inspired students to start considering the exciting possibilities that lie ahead.
