As Semester 1 draws to a close, we'd like to take a moment to simply say thank you.

To our students, thank you for the way you've embraced the opportunities this semester has presented. Whether it has been in the classroom, on camps, on the sporting field, through wellbeing initiatives, leadership opportunities, or simply the everyday moments of learning and growth, you have represented Korumburra Secondary College with pride. We've seen students challenge themselves, support one another, show resilience through setbacks, and celebrate each other's successes. There is so much to be proud of.

To our families, thank you for the ongoing partnership you've shown throughout the semester. Your support at home, your involvement in Student 360 meetings, Information Evenings, school events, and the many conversations we've shared has helped create a strong connection between school and home. Student wellbeing is at its best when we work together, and we are incredibly grateful for your continued support.

This semester has also seen our community embrace a number of new wellbeing initiatives. Through The Village, we've shared evidence-based resources, introduced our Behaviour Matrix, celebrated positive behaviour through initiatives like Mystery Student, explored topics from Pop Culture Parenting, and continued to strengthen the supports available to every student. It has been encouraging to see our community engage so positively with these initiatives.

As we head into a well-earned break, we encourage everyone to take some time to rest, reconnect with family and friends, and reflect on everything that has been achieved over the past six months. There is always more to do, but it's equally important to recognise how far we've come.

Support Available Over the Holidays

While we hope everyone enjoys a safe and relaxing break, we also recognise that holidays can sometimes be challenging. If you or someone you know needs support, the following services are available:

Remember, reaching out for support is a sign of strength, and there are always people ready to help.

From everyone in the Wellbeing and Inclusion Team, thank you to our students, families and staff for another positive term. We wish you all a safe, restful holiday and look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready for another great term.
