Grandparents & Special Friends' Mass Friday, 24th July
This Friday is one of the most exciting days on our school calendar - Grandparents and Special Friends Day.
Our Parents & Friends are once again putting on a morning tea for all our visitors, and do require assitance if you are able.
If you have forgotten to RSVP via the nForma Form, please do so ASAP so we can cater accordingly.
The Front playground will be open for parking throughout the morning. The Florence St and Kaniva Crt gates will be open before school, however will be locked after 9:00am, and not opened again until 3:00pm. Please ensure you advise visitors that they will only be able to exit through the front of the school.
The format for the day is:
9:00am - 9:45am Grandparents and Special Friends to visit classrooms
10:00am - 11:00am Mass - students to sit with Grandparents/Special Friends
11:00am - 11:30am Grandparents and Special Friends to visit classrooms
11:30pm - 12:30pm Morning tea for all visitors in the Hall
Important Reminders:
Please make sure all visitors to the school know which classes their grandchildren are in. We will have Year Six leaders helping direct people to classrooms, but it makes the job alot easier if the grandparents/special friends know which classes the students are in.
There will be a QR Code and also paper sign in sheets in all classrooms. We will require all visitors to sign in when they visit. Please advise them of this before they visit school.
Sacrament of First Eucharist
We keep all our Year Four students who are preparing to receive the Sacrament of Eucharist for the first time in our prayers. Eucharist is a reminder the Jesus is our nourisher, our protector and our guide. Through the receiving of this sacrament, may our students' faith be strengthened and may their journey to discipleship continue.
