Grandparent's Day
This week, we look forward to celebrating Grandparents' Day, a special occasion that gives us the opportunity to honour the grandparents and special people who have helped shape our families, our values and our traditions. Grandparents are often the keepers of treasured stories, wisdom and faith, connecting generations through their love, guidance and enduring legacy.
As we welcome the grandparents and those who have adopted the role of grandparents into the St Peter's community on Friday, we give thanks for the important role they play in the lives of our children. Their presence reminds us of the rich heritage that has been entrusted to us and invites us to reflect on the legacy we are creating for those who will one day follow in our footsteps.
Our celebrations this week remind us that each of us contributes to something far greater than ourselves. The faith, generosity and commitment of generations of families, parishioners, staff and students have shaped the vibrant community that we enjoy today. Every act of kindness, every lesson shared and every meaningful relationship nurtured adds another chapter to the story of St Peter's and helps ensure that its legacy continues to flourish for generations to come.

Our classes for 2027 are nearing capacity. If you are yet to enrol a younger sibling, or know of others who are considering St Peter's for their child's education in 2027, we encourage you to apply soon in order to secure their place at St Peter's.

Bullying Prevention
- MACS school communities have a moral, legal and mission-driven responsibility to create nurturing school environments where students are respected, their voices are heard and where practices and protocols for their safety and wellbeing are clearly articulated
- All incidents of perceived or actual bullying, harassment and cyberbullying will be recorded, and responded to sensitively, fairly and promptly
- Parents, guardians and carers play an important role in nurturing respectful behaviour, supporting school policies and procedures and setting a positive example for all students
- Identification and reporting of unacceptable behaviour are essential to the effective implementation of this policy
- All forms of communication between students, between staff and students or between staff and parents, are to be respectful and uphold the values of the school and the dignity of all involved
- Records of all reporting are to be kept in a secure manner in accordance with Ministerial Order 1359
