What Is Neurodiversity?
Neurodiversity refers to the different ways that people experience and interact with the world around them.
Each person’s brain works differently, meaning no two brains are the same. Neurodiversity acknowledges that these differences are what make us human.
Supporting All Learners At St.Peter's
In every class we welcome, value and nurture students of all abilities and work with them to ensure every student is reaching their full potential. Assistance and support is given to students facing barriers that impact their learning by offering classroom and school based intervention programs.
The classroom teachers also provide learning experiences which cater to our high achieving students. We offer school based extension program opportunities for students who are achieving results well above the scope of the classroom. A range of special programs are offered to extend students across all areas of the curriculum.
A reminder of our lunchtime Clubs for interested students. Held in the West Wing, these Clubs provide a wonderful opportunity for students looking for something a little different during playtime.
